POSTMARK DEADLINE:  February 8, 2010 (no late entries)

            If you have Senior Basketball players who excel on the court and in the classroom, you should submit nominations for the IBCA ACADEMIC ALL STATE TEAM by completing the form below.  If you have more than one nominee, make copies of the form.  Be sure to mail them by the deadline.

            Twenty-five nominees will be selected for the first team and all other nominees will be given Honorable Mention status.  All Nominees will be receiving gold embossed certificates that can be picked up by their coaches at the IBCA Clinic on April 24, or 25, 2009.  

            A combination of playing ability and scholastic achievements will be considered when selecting the First Team.  Additional information on your nominee will be most helpful to the selecting committee.  Notification of coaches about academic all state players shall be through the IBCA Spring Newsletter, which will be received in the middle of March.  First Team and Honorable Mention Players will be printed in the Newsletter and also posted on the IBCA website.

1. Has 3.5+ (4.0 scale) GPA (or equivalent) or ranks in the upper one-fourth of class after seven semesters.
2. A total score of 1500 or above on the College Board Test, or 23 on ACT
3. A member of starting five at least 90% of games when physically able.
4. Of good moral character
