1:30-2:00 pm  Registration/check-in for players and coaches – Enter the south side of the building thru

                        Entrance 4.  After check-in, players and coaches report to the Fitness Center for warm-ups.

 

2:00-2:15        Welcome, announcements, and introductions from Coach Witty and Coach Smith.

 

2:20-2:30        Stretching and Warm Ups by Methodist Sports Medicine personnel.

                                               

2:30-3:30        Stations - 10 minutes at each station.

3          Noah Shooting Station

4          Rebounding the Basketball – 4 on 4 Block Outs and Offensive Rebounding

5          Contain, Protect, Contest – Individual & Help Side Defensive

6          One on One Moves and Ball Handling

 

3:35-4:25        First Session of Games                                      4 Games Take Place in the Fitness Center

7:50-8:15        Teams are in the Fitness Center for presentation, distribution, and explanation for the players of

                        the Noah Computer Handout.  When this is finished, the Showcase event is over.

 

Coaches Information – At each station, the IBCA coaches will instruct the players what the focus of the station is, give brief demonstrations of the drill(s), and have the players “get after it” and let them play/compete/drill.  Our goal is to utilize the station time to compete against each other and demonstrate their abilities while improving and developing their skills.  Coach Smith will monitor and rotate the stations.  You will start with your teams at your station, and be paired with a team and their coaches for the station work.  Be spirited and be competitive!  Whatever method you can use constructively to create excite, feel free to use.
